Hello just wondering how long it takes to receive a social security replacement card...after filing for it a social security office?

The official time frame given on the receipt is two weeks, so people don't start calling if the mail takes a few days longer than normal.
If they have to verify documents with the source, it takes longer. Occasionally they have to verify immigration documents and birth certificates (only needed for a replacement card if the birth date has to be corrected).
