Hi, I recently learned that laptop batteries wear out after a few years (around four if you take care of it; which i don't), and i heard that you can't buy replacement batteries for advent roma laptops, when it does wear out will i be able to get another one? So, in that light, I'm pretty sure you would be well served consulting a local computer specialist. The following plusrecipes.com site has a small computer section where they offer resources that often include free estimates from local computer people in your area, whom I would think would know the cost of their professionally (and, hence, correctly) replacing the portabl power source/battery of your unique laptop:
