The replacement brake light switch has 2 wires, both are green/ red. But on the harness it connects to, the 2 wires are green/red and brown black. All you will be doing is connecting in on the existing circuit. The brake light switch is only joining the two wires up inside, so you could put it either way round and it would still work.
