The lowest price, without a discount, that I see on the Verizon site is $129. If you get a phone off Craig's List, be sure that it can be made compatible with Verizon. I don't know if that's a problem, or not.
Depending on how much time you have left on your contract, you may or may not have a discount applied to replacing your phone. I'd suggest going to %26quot;My Verizon%26quot; and creating an account. In the right margin of the page that comes up after you log in, is a section called %26quot;Quick Links%26quot;--click on %26quot;Upgrade Your Phone.%26quot;
Be sure to click on %26quot;Show Upgrade Discounts,%26quot; on the next screen, to see if you qualify for any money off.
I'd go ahead and call a real, live person, if you don't qualify for a discount, and see if they can do anything for you. Who knows? You can't be the first who sent their telephone through the wash.

As the model improves, the price goes up. My advice would be to look on craigslist and/or Ebay for the phone you want. You'll be able to save money that way.
