Does anyone have any ideas on how to make replacement pads for a steam mop?

I have a Shark steam mop and the replacement pads are around $10 each. They don't seem to work as well once I wash them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make your own replacement pads that won't harm the mop?Does anyone have any ideas on how to make replacement pads for a steam mop?why don't you get another kind of mop that will do the same job.you could get a bizzle scrubber(good for carpet and bare floors) then i go over the kitchen with a regular $8 sponge mop you can find at family dollar,K-Mart,or Walmart.Does anyone have any ideas on how to make replacement pads for a steam mop?The cost of the replacement pads is what kept me from buying the Shark
