How long does a company have to deliver a replacement after collecting a faulty item.?

Item delivered Fri went wrong Sun, collected by them Mon. And they are saying 2 weeks for replacement. It was originally ordered over the internet. A lot of suppliers won't replace goods before they have the originally delivered item in their possession, as they may need to check that it is a fault with the item and not caused by user error.



Just checked their website and it does say that they reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. This will be in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act (as amended).
