How do you develop a "replacement" system ?

Your legacy system was botched some years ago (incorrect changes were made to the legacy system and the system no longer works properly, but there is a pretence that it does).

Changes to the legacy system have been covered up.

The legacy system is needed, for development of the new system.

So any covering up that has been going on will have to continue.

Won't most %26quot;replacement%26quot; systems discover the above problems during their development ?How do you develop a %26quot;replacement%26quot; system ?Yeah. But, by that time, the management will have figured out who's 伪ss is gonna get fried for it.

Make sure that you know about at least one big skeleton in somebodies closet.

DougHow do you develop a %26quot;replacement%26quot; system ?it is possible but not entirely predestined. the install of a new system is the goal. The focus is on the goal, not on fixing or diagnosing the failed system. It may not be noticed if it is not pursued.
